We have been using this takeaway for years and have always given 5 stars as the food has always been perfect. Last night however, was the first bad meal. The Ķing Prawn Rice was good. The prawn toast was really greasy and had a different taste than usual. We also got Pork Sweet and Sour. The sauce and vegetables were nice. The pork however, was grisly and had a burnt taste.

Honestly not happy. Used to be amazing and fresh but everything doesn’t seem as fresh. Noodles didn’t really taste as anything, chicken felt like it wasn’t fresh. The prawn toast was burnt. The rice was the best part of the dish I loved the rice and salt and pepper ribs amazing! Everything else was cold. Not ordering again.

The time shown on this order is wrong. I ordered by app at 7.50pm. I was hungry then but I was given 8.51pm as the due delivery time. I rang the takeaway at 9.05 (15 mins later than the delivery time). Got the reason they’d been busy but they were just waiting for the driver to come back. Half an hour further on, still nothing delivered, same excuse even though I told him it was coming up for 2hrs! He added some free prawn crackers! At just after 10pm the driver delivered to me and apologised for the delay. When I said it was over 2hrs for delivery. The driver said the takeaway had forgotten my order. It was too late to eat at that time, and the food wasn’t that good. My sweet and sour had only a bit of sauce which had been soaked up into the fried rice. I was first to try it for our group but I won’t be recommending it.

Not nice at all tonight. We eat from here often & have never had an issue. Noodles overcooked hardly any meat in chow mein & salt and pepper chicken was tasteless.

Very disappointed with the quality of the food. This used to be our favourite Chinese takeaway, but since the name change it’s gone down hill. I’m sad to say we’ll have to find a new one to order from now :(

I’ve been a customer for years. Hate to say it but since the new owner took on what was Taste of China to become Wok Flames, the food taste has become poor, menu changed, free items stopped and the food quality gone from very good to poor. This is the third naff order on the trot and have decided to spend my £100 a month elsewhere., And looking at the reviews around the net, lots of folk saying similar., Can’t see it lasting long!
